Team up with
TeenUp
Understand how they learn.
teach in a way that connects.
You already work closely with learners and see that one approach doesn’t work for every learner.
Team Up with TeenUp gives you another layer of insight into how your learners naturally learn and process information – helping you adapt the way you teach and support them.
Because you want to see them succeed
You give your time, knowledge and energy to help your learners move forward. But sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, something still isn’t clicking.
You know the learner who works hard, prepares well and understands the work during your sessions – but struggles to show what they know when he pressure is on.
Or the learner you’ve explained something to in every way you know how, but the information still doesn’t seem to land.
It doesn’t necessarily mean they need to work harder – or that you need to teach harder.
Sometimes, there may simply be a gap between how information is being taught, how it is being received, and what happens to learning when stress enters the picture.
And understanding the gap can give us new ways to support them.
What if you could understand the gap…
A Brain Profile gives us another layer of insight into how a learner naturally learns, processes information, how they prefer to take information in , and what may happen to those processes under pressure.
For you as a tutor, that insight can help you begin asking different questions:
How does this learner need information presented?
Which study techniques might work better for them?
What helps them focus and retain information?
What changes when they’re under pressure?
Could the way I naturally teach be different from the way they naturally learn?
When we understand the gap, we can begin to bridge it.

You bring the relationship, subject knowledge and day-to-day understanding of the learner. You teach, observe, encourage and help them practice strategies in the environment where learning actually happens.
together
WE BRIDGE THE GAP
You bring the knowledge of the learner and your teaching expertise. I bring the Brain Profile insight and strategy support. Together, we can explore practical ways to help the learner learn, manage pressure and work with their unique preferences more effectively.
my role
I help you understand the profile.
As a licensed Brain Profile Practitioner, I administer and interpret the Brain Profile, provide the personal feedback and develop the learner’s personalised Brain Strategy Toolkit. With the family’s consent, I can then help you understand the relevant strategies and how they may be supported in your tutoring sessions.
Meet your team up guide
Hi, I am Nelia.
My heart behind Team Up is simple: to help bridge the gap between how we support someone, and how they are uniquely designed to experience and navigate the world.
My background includes a degree in Counselling, further studies in Motor Development and Therapy, and training in Neurodevelopment, through which I became a licensed NeuroLink Brain Profile Practitioner.
My continued studies have also explored Emotional Intelligence, movement-based and somatic approaches, stress and nervous-system regulation, and the connection between the brain, body and behaviour.
Together, these have shaped a much broader passion for helping people understand themselves and each other – support connection, resilience, optimal brain performance and everyday life.
For our learners, that means looking beyond marks and academic performance. Yes, we want to help them learn, focus, study and perform when it matters. But we also want to help them navigate pressure, understand themselves, build confidence, connect with the people around them and find practical ways to thrive within the world they are growing up in.
Through Team Up, I want to bring that understanding alongside the work you’re already doing – so that together, we’re not simply helping learners perform better, but helping them live and thrive better too.
Inwards and Upwards.
